Clee Fields

Clee Fields is a state-of-the-art sports facility managed by YMCA Humber on behalf of North East Lincolnshire Council. This £4 million redevelopment, funded by a £1.5 million grant from the Premier League, The FA, and the Government’s Football Foundation, alongside the Council’s capital projects budget, offers a modern space for football, rugby, and community activities. It is located on Ladysmith Road, Grimsby DN32 9SW.

Clee Fields boasts:

Two 3G artificial grass pitches suitable for 5, 7, 9, and 11-a-side football and rugby.
Four spacious team changing rooms equipped with showers and underfloor heating.
Therapy room and referees’ facilities.
A fully accessible pavilion with a café, kitchen, servery, and dining area.
Free on-site parking.

Inclusive community engagement

YMCA Humber is dedicated to promoting, developing, and managing a welcoming, inclusive, and diverse community sports offer at Clee Fields. The facility is open to local clubs, schools, and community groups, providing opportunities for training, matches, and events. Special focus is placed on social inclusion activities, including women’s and girls’ football, and LGBTQ+ initiatives.

Booking and availability

Clee Fields offers both annual service level agreements for year-round bookings and casual pitch hire options. To check availability or make a booking, please contact us at cleefields@ymca-humber.com

Annual service level agreement:

This means that you will commit to an all year round booking.

Signing up to an annual agreement means that you will be offered to keep your booking for the following season if you have followed the terms of use around care of the pitch and payments being made within 14 days of invoice.
